Loan for a non-resident of the state with a residence permit

A non-resident of the state who has issued a residence permit in Ukraine is equal in his rights and obligations to the citizens of the country. Thus, Ukrainian legislation does not prohibit domestic banks from issuing loans to foreigners. However, in practice, most banking structures do not want to provide this service to citizens of foreign countries.
This is due to the fact that according to the credit policy of the lion’s share of Ukrainian banks, consumer loans are issued exclusively to residents of the state. The bankers justify the refusal to provide credit services to foreigners with a high risk for the enterprise.
